Intern Laboratory Technician, Summer 2011
Requirements:
Candidate shall be a full time student at a four year college studying a scientific discipline. Interns must be professional, committed to customer service, and interested in high quality science. The interns must be able to work independently and have excellent math skills. The interns must be willing to work overtime on as needed basis. The internship will require 11-12 weeks of full-time commitment. There are only four positions available, with a preference given to successful returning interns. Interns can start applying in December 2010 for summer 2011.
Job Description/Goals:
Learn and perform analytical analyses as required by your supervisor. Contribute to the success of the labs by delivering high quality data in a timely fashion to meet our customer's needs. Interns will be paid $9.00/hour.

AIR POLLUTION METEOROLOGIST/ENGINEER

Location:
Sheridan, Wyoming
Requirements:
- BS in Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, or Engineering
- Ability to work independently in the sometimes challenging field environment
- Ability and desire to work with a variety of instrumentation
- Pre-employment drug screen
This position requires significant travel throughout Wyoming and the region; approximately 20 days per 3 month period, including 5 to 10 overnight. Weekend work is infrequent.
Job Description/Goals:
The position offers a great deal of variety and flexibility in the areas of ambient air pollution monitoring, meteorological monitoring, wind energy site evaluation and air quality modeling.
